Afghan Belal Arezou joins Churchill Brothers

I-League contenders Churchill Brothers SC have signed Afghanistan international striker Belal Arezou for the remainder of the season in place of Lebanese striker Akram Moghrabi. Belal besides being eligible to play the I-league will also play for the club in the AFC Cup.

Belal has come and joined Churchill Brothers on loan from Norwegian 2nd Division side Asker FK until the end of the season.

"We have signed him based on his impressive performance for his previous club in Norway (Asker FK) as well as his national team Afghanistan. Belal Arezou is a brilliant addition to our team, we are hoping that he helps us in maintaining our scoring form this season," Churchill Brothers CEO Valanka Alemao said.

This makes it the third addition to the Churchill Brothers squad in the winter break with earlier Indian captain Sunil Chhetri and defender Lamine Tamba joining the Red Machines.
