Ballack looks at future away from Leverkusen

Former Germany captain Michael Ballack is considering a future away from German Bundesliga side Bayer 04 Leverkusen once his two year contract ends next summer. The 35 year old had been considering to retire at the end of the season, but over the last few Bundesliga rounds he has refound his touch and has even gone on to captain Leverkusen.

Only in mid-November Ballack had said, "I have never said that I want to stop, but if you are 35 years old and your contract expires, it is normal that you are concerned. We'll have to see."

Suddenly Ballack has become a hot property again! Some clubs from the Bundesliga and English Premier League sides are said to be considering to bring in the former Germany Capitano.

Now Ballack could be getting a really interesting offer from MLS Cup winners Los Angeles Galaxy as replacement for English star David Beckham, who is set to leave the Californian club for French giants FC Paris Saint-Germain after five years in the North American league. Ballack could come in as the new Galaxy's Designated Player.
