Orissa First Division League to kick-off July 22

The Football Association of Odisha will be organising the prestigious FAO Football League 2012 from Sunday, July 22 onwards with the grand final slated for Sunday, September 30. The opening match will be Odisha Police taking on Mangala Club at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack at 15.00 IST.

In this years top tier 26 teams/clubs have been divided into four groups, two groups of seven and two with six teams. Three teams from each group make it to the Super League with the 12 teams to be divided into two groups of six teams each. The top two teams qualify for the semifinals with the winners set to play in the final on September 30.

A total of 111 matches would be played in the league in more then two months with the matches set to be played at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack.

Group B: Jay Durga Club, Sunshine Club, Bidanasi Club, Jobra Durga Club, Rising Star Club, Chauliaganj Club, Y.V.C.G.

Group C: Odisha Police, East Coast Railway, Radharaman Club, Mangala Club, Indipendent Club, W. Mahavir Club

Group D: SAI - Orissa, Rising Students Club, Sunrise Club, O.G.P. Club, Azadhind Club, C.R.R.I.
