The Under-20 boys team of Dempo SC are champions of the second edition of the Sesa Cup after beating the Sporting Clube de Goa Juniors 6-1 at the SFA grounds in Sirsaim this afternoon. It was sweet revenge for Dempo's who had lost against SCG Juniors in the Goa Taca Under-20 tournament finals on penalties only a few days ago...
Dempo Juniors have been convincing throughout the tournament. After beating the hosts Sesa Football Academy in the opener, they won 4-2 against Churchill Brothers SC before another 6-1 drubbing this time against Sporting Clube de Goa.
The second edition of the Under-20 Sesa Cup was played from March 24 to April 1 in Goa. The eight under-20 teams that took part were the hosts Sesa Football Academy, Dempo SC, Salgaocar SC, Churchill Brothers SC, Sporting Clube de Goa, St Cruz Club Cavelossim, Curtorim Gymkhana and the Goa-based Brasil Futebol Academia.
