66th Santosh Trophy - Day 2: High Scoring matches

The 66th edition of the National Football Championship for the Santosh Trophy had its second day today with matches only in Cluster VI and VII in Cuttack and Bhubaneswar.

Interesting is the fact that all matches today saw a high number of goals with 18 scored in only three games.

The closest of the lot was the Cluster-VI Uttarakhand vs Rajasthan tie which seemed to be heading for a two-all draw before Rajasthan came into action and won the game 4-2. In Cluster-VII the favourites beat their opponents as Haryana won 4-1 against minnows Daman & Diu, while Assam trashed Northeast rivals Sikkim 5-2.
