The 'Araldite' Kenkre Football Academy from Mumbai has invited world renowned football coach Horst Wein to train for a change 'Coaches' at the Academy. Adib Kenkre founder of the Kenkre Football Academy has always emphasized the lack of quality coaches in India to train its budding talent in a professional manner. So this Diwali vacation all the coaches at Kenkre Football Academy have sacrificed their time and will be utilizing it to learn the latest techniques of training kids.
Adib Kenkre said, "We have a group of 25-30 coaches who will be under the guidance of Horst Wein for a period of 10 days. He will impart wealth of knowledge to them."
Germany-based Indian football expert Arunava Chaudhuri, a friend of the Kenkre Football Academy, has been instrumental in convincing Horst Wein to take time off from his busy schedule to visit India.
German Horst Wein, now based in Barcelona, has been involved in recycling the knowledge of football coaches in over 53 countries around the world. He has been involved in working with some of the biggest clubs including FC Barcelona, FC Arsenal, Inter Milan and FC Villarreal.
Horst Wein has authored over 34 football books and works closely in developing football in many of the top European countries besides often visiting south and central America for coaches education.
Horst Wein will also train talented children and the youth squads of Kenkre Football Academy, as he looks to give them a glimpse of modern training techniques in youth football.
