Defender Usha B. will lead a 20-member Delhi Senior Women's football team at the 19th Senior Women's National Football Championship 2010/11 which is being currently held from April 25 to May 17 at Bhilai in Chhattisgarh. A total of 26 states are taking part in this edition of the women's nationals.
Forward L. Naobi Chanu of Janaki Devi College has been named as vice-captain of the team by the Delhi Soccer Association selection committee. The 20 players were selected from a 15 day open selection trials-cum-coaching camp held at the Janaki Devi Memorial College in Rajinder Nagar, New Delhi.
Delhi have been drawn into Cluster 6 along with former champions West Bengal and Pondicherry. They play their first match on May 4 against Pondicherry and then face West Bengal on May 6.
