Santosh Trophy: Delhi selection trials

The Delhi Soccer Association will be holding an open selection trial-cum-coaching camp for its Delhi state senior team from Thursday, April 20 onwards at the Ambedkar Stadium. The trials will kick-off at 15.00 IST that day.

The 65th edition of the Santosh Trophy will be held from May 6 to 30 across Assam in the seven cities of Guwahati, Nagaon, Mangaldoi, Tinsukia, Shivsagar, Kokrajhar and Bongalgaon. In this years edition Delhi have been placed in Cluster 6 along with Nagaland, Orissa and Himachal Pradesh in the preliminary stage.

Interested players from the capital registered with the DSA or playing football in the states of West Bengal, Goa, Mumbai, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Orissa, Karnataka, Tripura, Kerala, etc can take part in the trials. Non-registered players cannot be accommodated in the squad due to registration issues.

The players interested can report to selection committee chairman O.P. Malhotra, Convenor Syed Shaheen besides Bhola Nath Karmakar, Anadi Barua, Ravi Rana and Manoj Newa for registration to participate in the trials.
