33rd Federation Cup: DD Sports to telecast matches from tomorrow!

From tomorrow onwards until the end of the tournament on September 29 Doordarshan Sports (DD Sports) will be showing select matches of the 33rd Federation Cup live from Kolkata and Pune. This means two match day's of the quarterfinal league along with the semifinals and final will be shown by the national broadcaster.

The AIFF has been working on a last minute arrangement and could now finally, officially announce the deal as the tournaments official regional broadcaster Brand Value Communications Limited (News Time Bangla & News Time Assam) has agreed to share the television feed with Doordarshan, so to guarantee a national coverage of India's premier league-cum-knockout tournament.

The AIFF and their marketing partners IMG-Reliance have come in for heavy criticism from clubs, ex-players and fans alike why no national coverage of the Federation Cup could be organised.
