66th Santosh Trophy: Mizoram name final squad

The Mizoram Football Association has named their final 20 players squad for the 66th edition of the National Football Championship for the Santosh Trophy which will be played from May 11 to 27 across Orissa. The MFA had held trials to select their state team.

Zaidinmawia Hmar has been named captain of the Mizoram state team, which is a combination of youth and experience.

Joseph Lalsangzuala has been appointed by the MFA as the coach of the Mizoram state team, who have been drawn in the preliminary round Cluster VI along with Uttarakhand and Rajasthan playing their matches on May 14 (vs Rajasthan) and May 16 (vs Uttarakhand).
