The All India Football Federation today released the first list of Inter-State Transfers for the 2011/12 season. The list includes only 19 transfers.
The most prominent one's are signings by East Bengal Club who gained Churchill Brothers SC trio Robert Lalthalma, Khanthang Paite and Charan Rai; plus Sunil Kumar from Pune FC. Their city rivals Mohun Bagan AC signed seasoned J. Muralidharan from HAL.
Aspiring Kolkata side Southern Samity gained Deepak K. from HAL while Moirangthem Basanta Singh was signed from RCU, Manipur. Other players coming to Kolkata include Bapi Chowdhury from Bengal Mumbai FC to Bhowanipore Club, Owolesho Abey from Guwahati Town Club to Kalighat Milan Sangha, Nil Kamal Mondal from Saroj Sangha, Tripura to Rajasthan Club, Mojaffar Ali from PIFA-Colaba Youngstars FC, Mumbai to Wari AC, Swapan Das from Saroj Sangha, Tripura to Calcutta FC, Sabina Minj from Assam to W.B. IT Sports & Amusement Club, and Pradip Tiwary from Ageya Chalo Sangha, Tripura to the IFA.
Besides losing Sunil Kumar, Pune FC also lost A. Sherin (AGORC, Chennai) and S. Vinobagandhi (Indian Bank, Chennai). Other transfers into Tamil Nadu included A. Guru from Sporting Clube de Goa to Integral Coach Factory, R. Naveen Kumar from Akbar Travels, Mumbai to AGORC, Chennai.
Khoirm Santa Singh left Sunrise AC, Guwahati to return to Manipuri side XI-Star Sporting Union.
