Armando's 30 players squad list released

The All India Football Federation today announced the 30 players that interim national coach Armando Colaco has chosen for the friendlies against the Maldives (July 10) and Qatar (July 10) ahead of the 2014 FIFA World Cup - Asian Round 2 qualifiers. Four players have been named as stand-byes.

There are no major surprises in the squad though it is evident that Armando wants to use players he has worked with at Dempo's while only Karanjit Singh from the players in the probables camp from I-League champions is in the squad.

The following players in Jagroop Singh, Gurwinder Singh, Nalappan Mohanraj, Khangembam Singh, Xavier Vijayakumar, Gilbert Oliviera, Francis Fernandes, Rocus Lamare, Baldeep Singh and Joaquim Abranches have been left out due to injuries or not being better then others at the camp.
