
Amongst the South Asian nations India continue to be second behind new top side Afghanistan (139th) but ahead of Bangladesh (154th), the Maldives (158th), Pakistan (168th), Nepal (171st), Sri Lanka (172nd) and Bhutan (207th).
India don't have any matches planed for the next few weeks with international friendly matches possible in late-May/early-June.
Meanwhile there has been a couple of changes amongst the top five of the FIFA World Rankings. World champions Spain (1,538 points) stay at the top ahead of Germany (1,428) and Argentina (1,292) with Croatia (1,191) now fourth, up five places; ahead of Portugal (1,163), who gained two spots.
