Manipur name Santosh Trophy squad

The All Manipur Football Association has finalised and announced their 20 player squad for the upcoming Santosh Trophy with S. Ekendra Singh named as the state coach.

The former Santosh Trophy champions go into the tournament without any of their national level players who play for I-League and 2nd Division I-League clubs with the squad mainly made of players playing in the Manipur State League with champions TRAU and record champions NISA having the most number of players in the squad.

The 65th edition of the Santosh Trophy will be held from May 6 to 30 across Assam in the seven cities of Guwahati, Nagaon, Mangaldoi, Tinsukia, Shivsagar, Kokrajhar and Bongalgaon. In this years edition Manipur have been placed in Cluster 3 along with Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Andaman&Nicobar in the preliminary stage to be played in Shivsagar
