VIDEO: Matthaeus off air goes bonkers

What happened? German 1990 FIFA World Cup winning captain Lothar Matthaeus is the expert of the day for Doha-based Al Jazeera Sports of UEFA Champions League match from Munich. And something has gone totally wrong while they are off air and Lothar really has a go at the commentators and the producer. It isn't own what, but it seems the crew wasn't fully prepared with their information with Lothar leaving at the end.

What makes this so interesting is that here in Germany a lot of people say that Lothar Matthaeus' English is terrible as they mainly remember his signing press conference for the NY/NJ Metro Stars in 2000. In those days it was really terrible, but I personally know now that Lothar's English has improved a lot.

I can't say from which UEFA Champions League match this video is, but it looks likely from the Bayern Munich vs Inter Milan match a few weeks ago. Watch & enjoy!
