Around the world footballer especially ex-players, coaches and people in football management play golf these days. So yesterday afternoon my local club here in Germany FC Remscheid tried their hand at the sport and it surely wasn't as easy as it looks on television.

VIDEO of the Charity Golf Tournament 2010

On September 24, 2010 a charity golf tournament was held at the Golf & Landclub Coesfeld e.V. for the charity "Kinder sind unsere Nr.1". The charity golf saw a number of former German footballers, amongst them Andreas Koepke and Lutz Pfannenstiel, taking part besides local golf players.

The event was able to raise some funds and those who took part had an enjoyable day out in the rain!
