Match Analysis to Showcase State of the Art Performance Suite in London

As part of its expansion into the United Kingdom and Europe, Match Analysis will be attending the prestigious Leaders in Performance conference in London, England on October 10/11. Match Analysis will showcase its latest products and innovations at Booth 9 in the Exhibit Hall.

"We will be demonstrating our product line for the first time in Europe," said Mark Brunkhart, President of Match Analysis. "Over the last decade, Match Analysis has been the preferred provider of almost every major professional club in North America as well as the national sides of the US, Mexico, and Canada. We've developed arguably the most advanced system on the market, but unfortunately very few in the UK and Europe have had the opportunity to see it for themselves. Leaders in Performance presents a perfect opportunity to introduce a new market to a world class alternative."

"North American sports analysis is booming and remains at the absolute cutting edge of performance technology. The innovations and developments here often go largely unnoticed in Europe. Our approach is unique! Match Analysis takes an expansive view of analysis and the impact it has on the entire organization. We believe in a more ubiquitous and integrated process where every person responsible for winning matches is a user of the system. The result is that analysis has greater reach, video is everywhere, and communication is paramount."

Match Analysis will be demonstrating K2 Panoramic Video, integrated TrueView visualizations, its highly regarded Mambo Studio video editing system, as well as Tango Online, Tango ToGo, and Tango Live. The complete suite of tools spans every aspect of the organization from coaching staff to player to marketing to media to live analysis and education as well as league wide support.

"Leaders in Performance represents a great opportunity to push the state of the art," said Stephen Hamilton, Director of Business Development and Marketing (North America). "As Match Analysis expands into Europe, Leaders is the perfect venue to introduce some of the best coaches, analysts, and club management to a wider breadth of possibilities. We feel the timing is perfect to bring a new choice to the market, and the engineers at Match Analysis have spent the last decade developing a truly revolutionary tool set."

Delegates interested in seeing Match Analysis’ industry leading technology are encouraged to schedule an appointment in advance by contacting Nick Soye, Commercial Director (Europe) by phone at +44 7795 838497 or by e-mail at nick@matchanalysis.com. Delegates may also visit the booth during show hours for a demonstration of the company’s latest developments and technology.

Match Analysis launches Mambo Studio 5.0

Match Analysis, a global provider of soccer data and video analysis services to premiere leagues and teams, has announced that it has launched Mambo Studio Version 5.0, its most innovative product yet. Ten years in the making, Mambo Studio 5.0 is the fifth generation of Match Analysis' popular suite of tools used daily by top coaches and teams for video editing and analysis. The launch of Match Analysis' Mambo Studio 5.0 represents the culmination of an intense product development effort drawing input from elite professional clubs and coaches.

Mambo 5.0 incorporates a large collection of first-to-market innovations that have been carefully integrated into Match Analysis’s existing tool set including:

· Panoramic Video – a seamless and complete view of the pitch from corner flag to corner flag

· Portable Player Tracking – the precise pitch location of all 22 players and referee at all times using a low cost portable camera system

· TruView Visualizations – next generation integrated visualizations that show tactical structure, offside, team shape within panoramic video itself greatly improving on traditional bird’s eye animation

· Full Touch Screen Integration –instant interactive response in front of the classroom or the studio camera

· Next Generation Fitness Data – Complete graphical fitness reporting highlighting player by player distances, performance, sprints, recovery rates, direction, and more

"Mambo 5.0 represents a transformational technological advance and reinforces Match Analysis' commitment to innovate continuously, to provide our clients with the best products on the market, and to help them elevate team performance," said Mark Brunkhart, Match Analysis Founder and President. "The new technologies are seamlessly incorporated into our suite of tools allowing coaches to see and communicate their vision of the game to their players in compelling and dynamic ways. The response to Mambo 5.0 in early demos has been fantastic. The product seems to have struck a chord and fills a largely unmet need in the international market. We're very excited about the launch and the impact this will have on the development of the game."

Match Analysis acquires Spinsight

Match Analysis, the leading provider of video and statistical analysis for football (soccer), has announced the acquisition of Edinburgh-based Spinsight Ltd. The acquisition was structured as a transfer of intellectual property and other assets.

Following a successful strategic cooperation between the two companies aimed at developing and marketing state-of-the-art portable panoramic video and low cost player tracking, Match Analysis has undertaken this acquisition as part of its strategic expansion into the European market.

The K2 panoramic camera system, developed by Spinsight, is an exclusively integrated component of Match Analysis’s recent Mambo Studio 5 launch which incorporates its widely popular video analysis system with panoramic “corner flag to corner flag” video, precise player tracking, interactive TruView visualizations, touch panel and smart board integration and next generation fitness reporting. The system is currently being used by five Major League Soccer clubs, the US Men’s National Team, and a number of top national rugby unions.

"The acquisition of Spinsight is a very positive development for our clients," said Match Analysis president Mark Brunkhart. "The technology is cutting edge and immediately beneficial to teams, leagues, and the media. By bringing the technology in-house, we can expand upon the integration we've done over the past two years. We've demonstrated Mambo 5 in combination with the K2 to some of the best coaches in the world, and the response has been universally and instantly positive. We've had a number of leagues express immediate interest in implementing the solution league wide to improve referee performance, player development, discipline, and pitch security. The combination of our technology with the K2 is a perfect fit for our clients and will fill a largely unmet need throughout the world."

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
