Yesterday evening the Allstars from Bundesliga club Bayer 04 Leverkusen took on their counterparts from FC Remscheid in a charity match at the latter's Jahnplatz ground in support for the children of the burnt down primary school GGS Eisernstein. About 1,000 people came and a few thousand Euros will have been collected for the children and their school.

Ex-Bundesliga stars like Carsten Ramelow (former German international), Heiko Scholz, Markus Feinbier and others came to represent their former club with the match ending 5-5-
